The MEDICA in Düsseldorf is the largest medical trade fair in the world. Every November, the who-is-who of international medicine comes together here and brings thousands of visitors to the Rhine shores. Since 1985 PROTEC is also represented with its own stand every year and therefore has a very special connection to MEDICA. Together with the trade fair presence, the foundation for a unique success story was established.
Both nationally and internationally, PROTEC’s film processors have become well-known and in demand. The MEDICA still plays a central role today as an international meeting point for the development of sales activities at domestic and international level. So it is no surprise that this platform was used for the presentation of new products. Wether it was the OPTIMAX in 1994, the most sold film processor until today, followed in the 2000 years by the OPTIMAX 2010, first in-house software developments like CONAXX and CONAXX 2, the entry into digitalization and from 2009 on complete DR X-ray systems. Recently, we set new standards in auto-stitching and intuitive operation with the PRS 500 B and the PRS 500 New Design series.
